Review on ๐Ÿ’ฅ Specialty/Electronic Shock Absorber by Monroe - Model 40044 by Chris Cervantes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Now my 2003 GMC Yukon Denali behaves like new. The Cadillac/GMC dealer was charging $500 for an AC Delco/Delphi.

My custom Monroe 40044 shock absorbers arrived on Monday 6th October and I fitted them on Saturday 11th October. (I installed the rear (40034) custom shocks the week of September 3rd). Now my 2003 GMC Yukon Denali behaves like new. The Cadillac/GMC dealership charged $500 for an AC Delco/Delphi shock plus installation costs. The price I paid at Revain for all 4 shocks was $1200 less and I installed them myself. I had no problems (codes on dashboard). With 4 new tires and a compressor that only runs for about 3-8 seconds when the engine is started (depending on the number of occupants in the car, and 4 new shock absorbers, my truck drives and reacts like new) HELP! about 2 weeks, about October 25, I noticed that after starting the engine, the message "Service Ride Control" appeared on the dashboard and the rear compressor did not even work. The warning disappears when any button on the steering wheel is pressed. I thought maybe the plugs were bad (they showed some rust inside when I replaced the front shocks). I replaced the plugs on 11/09 but 'Service Ride Control' is still displayed, no codes are showing on my OBD car scanner and the rear compressor will not turn on. The truck still drives like new. Any other ideas or possible worn parts? I just want the "Service Ride Control" warning to go away and my rear supercharger to work. Please let me know where these supposedly faulty parts are located.
