This inflator appears to work well and seals well and the gauge appears to be fairly accurate on psi readings. What I don't like is that it loses air whether you press the lever or not. I left it on my motorcycle tire and walked away for a moment only to come back and find that my tire pressure had risen to over 60psi without even pulling the lever. I first checked the tire pressure with my digital gauge to make sure that gauge is accurate before attaching the pump to the stem so I know it was at the correct level to begin with. I deflated until I got to 36psi, which it should have been, and checked my digital gauge and it was accurate, but I had to dial in the correct pressure and remove the tube immediately before it could pump more air into the tire . I lowered my compressor settings to see if that reduced or removed the power output altogether, to no avail. It becomes more difficult to inflate a tire accurately when it is constantly pumping air. I don't think it's okay. UPDATE: I should have posted this a long time ago! The seller contacted me with my concerns and sent me a replacement free of charge and I didn't have to return the defective one. I am very satisfied with the replacement and the service!
