CHINA VIEW; NO SMELL; EASY TO USE (AT SMALL PRODUCTS)!

I tried a spray glaze for the first time and it didn't suit me at all. I make flower arrangements on containers that can hold candy or whatever fits. The spray didn't work, other than making the flowers stiff, so I tried American Triple Thick Glaze. I haven't read all the reviews but the price was good and I was desperate for something to add shine to my products. I've read the reviews and I have to say that this product gets thick, but after I'm done I dip the brushes in water; Rub them off a little when I start and then dip them in the frosting and I had no problem spreading the frosting, drips or streaks, but then I paint a very small product. The instructions say "don't overdo it" - I have no idea what that means, but I let it dry for 20 minutes - no smell, then go through the colors that aren't shiny enough for my liking. The product gets thick, but I haven't found that to be a problem - others have agreed that mixing it with some water thins the frosting rather than ruining it, but I prefer to use it fairly thickly and have the brush just wet enough to use to make it easier to apply the frosting. This is not shown in the figure below. the porcelain look I get and I am very happy with the end product. I have ordered three more glasses and am trying other glazes as well. Those of us who can't go to the hardware store will likely find this type of frosting (or the same) for a cheaper price, but time is money, so. so!

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember

Easy to use and spread over your project. Didn't cloud drills on diamond paintings.
