The delivery for this item was exceptionally long, over a month, for a bag of rocks. The rocks are shipped in a labeled carton and just in a zipper bag. They didn't sustain any damage during shipping based off of the lack of chips in the bag or box, but two of the ten rocks had large chips in them on the edges. Flipped over, they would be fine and you can't really see the chips. A couple of rocks had large furrows in them from the formation of the rocks themselves. Again, using the other side, the furrows would not be noticeable. All of the rocks were extremely dusty. Before using them or painting on them, I would wash them with some soap and water and dry them. They were all smooth (except for the imperfections mentioned) and should be really pretty when painted.
