later UPDATE: So I decided to try a second shot and use up the remaining tubes. This time I noticed the knob was loose on all of them so I tightened them to the right as if closing them more. This seems to have done the trick. So instead of twisting them to lift them like when you want to apply lip balm; Twist to the right (opposite direction) as if you were closing the balm to put the cap back on. It seems to lock in place and doesn't leak when melted balm is poured. If it's clear I assume part of it is left open at the bottom causing a leak. I hope this makes sense, but it definitely helped me the second time around. I will order this again. I was stranded and didn't have time to wait for my other hoses to arrive from the company I usually order my supplies from, so thought I'd give these a try as they look the same as the ones I usually get from my supplier . They look good but the moment you fill them they start leaking through the twister below. Even if you wait to fill it with a cooler mix, if it melts in the car or purse, it just oozes out at the bottom. I think only 7 out of 50 tubes didn't leak!
