Review on Rockingham Forge RF 1741 ASHWOOD Paring by Dnasty Julius

Received two of my knives today which I ordered from the UK site about a week ago and to say I am very pleased with the quality impressed would be dishonest. t pretty much cover that. The blades are rock hard and the knife itself is very well balanced. I stumbled across these knives while looking to purchase individual knives from another UK knife maker (I found a pair at TJ Maxx and was hoping to complete the set) and they had identical handles. Having the opportunity today to compare these two brands I can honestly say that I prefer Rockingham Forge knives, I just love their hammered blade! I'll be testing my knives this weekend and will try to update this review with performance observations. PS A big disappointment that doesn't affect the quality of the knives is that for some reason the knives are literally unavailable for shipping to the US. Over night. When I bought my two knives last week, it only took 5 days for them to get here. I've been looking for knives in my shopping cart every day and expect to order more once I see my first order in person. The day I received my package and was happy to finally place another order, they all suddenly appeared on the US website as out of stock but still in stock but not for US shipping on the UK website available. I spoke to a customer service rep who couldn't tell me anything other than what I see on the site myself, and Google didn't give an explanation either. I hope these knives are available again for US buyers because I would happily recommend them to everyone!
