Great heater! However, under no circumstances should the shape or form be used on a porch or any other place where they will be exposed to cold air. I bought this heater specifically to try and warm up an 8 x 12 porch a bit with surrounding covers. Didn't expect the heater to take away the chills. However, given the description, I figured it would at least make my indoor porch bearable when entertaining. It practically didn't matter if I walked up on my covered porch. It looks like a solid space heater, but if you're looking for something more powerful/reliable/designed for a cooler location I suggest you look elsewhere. I am keeping this as a backup heater and am very disappointed with the description. I feel like I received a completely different product than what was described, apart from the looks
