I bought this lens after reading a lot of good reviews about it, unfortunately I got a bad one. At f2.8 the image quality is terrible. No focus in manual mode or AF. I'm so disappointed right now. Update: After hours of tweaking my camera settings (Nikon D7200), I've finally found a solution to a terrible autofocus problem on my camera. I had to open settings on my camera > autofocus fine tune > lower to -6 and now everything is clear, I can focus and there is clarity at f2.8. Although it seems quite odd to me why a brand new lens would require me to adjust such parameters to make it work properly. However, I'm just glad it works. Ever since I've had this lens it's been a new lesson to learn every day whether it's AF or ISO etc. However, I have no regrets about this lens. The Tokina 11-20mm is the beauty of the lens and the shots at f2.8 are just stunningly beautiful. I gave it 3 stars because it was giving me a headache trying to fix this issue. Edit: Still not clear and I have to reset it to -18 and it's still blurry by 11mm at the edges. I receive a new lens from the seller. I'll update what's up when I get it. Final Edit: On May 9th, 2017 I received a replacement lens from the company I bought it from and sent the old lens back. Now it's perfect, it focuses like a lens boss and details are sharp and clear at f/2.8 in all shots! I'm really impressed with the clarity of this lens! A real lens masterpiece from Tokina! I've attached two shots I just took with the new lens. exif: f/2.818mm iso 2000ss: 1/40
