I bought an OLETO lavalier microphone kit to add voice input to my old, outdated, homebuilt Windows XP desktop computer. Having reviewed many lavalier mics, this product and its accessories offered an attractive range of accessories to meet all my lavalier mic needs at an attractive price. As a retired electronics technician, I immediately unscrewed the cable connectors. In another review I found the cable and plugs to be well made. But as a perfectionist, I can usually find some problems with the things I buy. The issue I noticed with the lapel mic was that the wire at the end of the mic moved in and out slightly, which introduced a bit of unwanted tone into the signal when the wire moved in and out slightly, and thin wires strain could. . After the metal grommet was unscrewed, I smeared some "liquid tape" on the wire where the metal grommet covers the metal grommet, immediately screwed the metal grommet back onto the mic and let it dry for a day. Problem solved, the cable no longer moves inwards. I give OLETO lapel microphone 5 stars.
