I'm an electrician and used it for about 6 months before it broke completely. It might work for a DIYer, but for someone who actually works with it, it's rubbish. The last bug was that the tape just ripped in half despite having other issues. It's smart of them to only give you a 1 month return window. Last time I bought tools from Revain that's for sure - the 1 month return policy is even worse than that junk tape. The tool should last at least a year if not 5+. The 1 month money back guarantee is basically proof that they don't expect it to last. Other problems: 1. The tape was deformed 1-2 weeks after purchase, i.e. twisted. Also quite unacceptable.2. The band has never managed to go very far without breaking, probably because it's not very thick or wide.3. It got stuck on rewind regularly - I think that's what caused the crack, it got stuck on rewind (and I usually add finger pressure to keep the speed down while doing it). The standard clip on the end was difficult to grab with a simple motion (e.g. pull out from the bottom with your fingertips) as it was too small and didn't leave enough margin on the frame to hook my fingertip as often as I had to actually holding it with your thumb and then gripping it with other fingers - just very bad ergonomics from a supposedly professionally oriented company. Pros: 1. Well, first of all, it's not a "professional tool", although I think it's a minus. 2. The magnet worked well.3. It held up well and felt good in the hand.
