The simple steel clip holding the regulator in place broke and lost the section holding the regulator in place. Good thing the engine wasn't hot enough to start a fire. If I hadn't noticed the drops on the pavement, the car would be a ruin by now. As a metallurgical engineer, I would contribute to the very poor quality of the steel. Is this instrument part made of cheap steel? Probably! I received a replacement part but I don't trust it. Attention buyers!
