1. Standard IH fuel line could not be connected. The inlet had the correct threads, but there was no room for the end of the 5/16 inch fuel line or room for the brass bushing. Went to Bridgeport to drill a hole and mold a saddle. 2. Fuel leaked after connection. The needle was so short that the float arm rested against the end of the seat and barely touched the needle. Replaced with a real needle and seat from the conversion kit. than the original, but the lower end of the emulsion tube that feeds fuel The carburetor throat was never fully pierced, preventing fuel from entering the engine. I was able to build a working carburetor from old and new parts, at best this block was the source of some spare parts.
