I bought these for my mother-in-law's new apartment. You recently moved from a large house to a small apartment and now have very little space. They always locked the dogs up at night, used portable boxes for them and left them in their living room. Well, this new place just didn't have room for furniture AND dog cages. I was thrilled when I stumbled across them because they were in a color scheme my mother-in-law liked and they could serve a dual purpose. Both dogs weigh less than 25 pounds (you can see them in the photo) and they have ENOUGH space in these cages. We bought plastic drawer liners from PetSmart to put in the bottom of the drawer in case they have an accident, thinking they would be easier to pull out for cleaning. Dogs LOVE boxing - they get used to it pretty quickly. And I love that they are part of the decor and you don't walk into their small space and see two dog kennels in the middle of the floor. They were very easy to assemble and are made from durable wood with beautiful finishes. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a way to keep their pets close by in a 'hidden' pet cage. They have a large surface as a side table and, with the colors available, suit many interior styles.
