The first use of the vacuum pump was four months after receipt. Added pump oil and used the pump according to the instructions provided. When I started vacuuming my A/C, the pump started spewing oil out of the vent cap and would not vacuum. The pump was not overfilled with oil. Several attempts led to the same result. The gauge set was also disappointing as the yellow hose used to create a vacuum and add refrigerant did not fit a standard R-134a refrigerant tap. I tried two different faucets with the same result. The connection thread on the yellow hose was the wrong size. Very disappointing. But I learned the lesson. Buy an American.
