Review on πŸ”Œ I/O Crest 2 Port PCIe SuperSpeed USB 3.0 Card Adapter with UASP, SATA Power, Renesas Chipset by Kevin Robinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Suitable for adding more USB 3.0 ports

Windows 7 requires a driver CD to install, Windows 10 has built-in drivers so no CD is required. Very good for powering two additional USB 3.0 ports on the front. I couldn't boot the USB stick from this card, I had to use the motherboard ports as I believe drivers need to be loaded to allow access to the added ports. Otherwise no problem. Fast transmission, much faster than USB 2.0. Used in an HP Compaq Elite 8300 SFF, for which I had to order a power adapter cable; This card uses a Molex connector for power, and the PC only had SATA power connectors.
