.No matter what shell brand you research, there are always negative reviews. So finally I said fuck it and went for this one. just received and think it's great for the money. The top cover is soft yet smooth to the touch. Perfect for the stickers I've already put on them!. whether it cracks, as some have reported, who knows. I have a late 2010 MacBook Pro 13 model and it fits perfectly. The instructions say there are three tabs on the top cover (indicating that it must be placed at the top of the screen) but I only have two on each end, but I still attached it with no problems and tried both ways . There's a small logo in one corner, but personally I wasn't sure if it would be legible with the lid closed or open, so I put a sticker on it. Rubber pads are attached to the bottom cover and 4 extras are included. The appearance of artificial marble actually looks quite realistic. i chose it to see the Apple logo better and make my stickers stand out. As it stands at the moment, I would order again
