Review on Modway Ripple Office Chair White Furniture by Nicole Brand

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Comfortable, stylish, EASY to install

Purchased for my home office after looking at over 1000 chairs at Revain. SO MANY CHAIRS. How do we choose? You start your quest with office chairs, and six hours later you've just bought a tank of sensory deprivation. Anyway, I wanted something compact, comfortable, stylish and easy to set up. This chair fits perfectly. Firstly, I chose this chair because I can tuck it under my desk when not in use, especially since it doesn't have armrests. Fits easily under a standard height table and even under some shorter tables as it adjusts up and down with a lever. I wanted a chair that was elegant and not bulky, a black executive chair that was beautiful to look at but impractical to use. . This chair looks very expensive considering it's priced at around $100. Note that I chose camel color and it matches the color. So far I like this chair in terms of comfort. The lumbar support is high, the seat and back are wide. Feels plush. My ass is grateful. I'm 5'6 and 135 pounds; Someone much taller and heavier will have no problem with this chair. I've attached a picture to show the easy installation. Unpacking/unpacking this chair from the box took longer than the installation itself. Literally 4 steps and 2 minutes. I appreciate the ease of setup because I'm just not good with manuals/instructions. See: IKEA dresser where I installed the drawers upside down. So the fact that my cat could put this chair together was really a plus for me. Highly recommended, updated regularly. For those who sit at a desk all day, every day, this chair will eventually lack a comfortable gluteal support. I've found that some sort of cushion for sitting in this chair will probably be very helpful as I get sore and stiff from sitting in this chair for a long time even though I get up to take a break. What I also noticed that I didn't think of when purchasing is that this chair does not have the ability to recline or rock backwards. In fact, the back doesn't move. So basically I'm being pushed forward in this chair and that puts stress on my spine. Structurally, he survived. The leather is not worn. The wheels didn't fall off. From an aesthetic point of view, this is a stylish chair. BUT, unfortunately for my bum, this chair will probably be replaced soon as over time it's not as comfortable as I'd hoped. Everything was great but the upholstery is worn and the aforementioned lumbar support is sending me back down the rabbit hole for something better.

Cons
  • Poorly thought out
