Believe it or not. I plugged in the chip, left the terminal unplugged overnight as recommended in the manual, and let the chip do its thing. The next day my check engine light went out (apparently because the battery was disconnected overnight) and I noticed a tremor in the accelerator pedal. 3 weeks later still no check engine light came on and the damn truck was driving through emissions that required 2 catalytic converters.
