After a long search for a bathing solution that wouldn't take up much space in the aquarium or block the water flow and cause algae growth, I finally decided to try a curved ramp in the aquarium to achieve this acrylic style. This worked very well for a few weeks until my tortoise discovered that it could tear the artificial grass fabric easily. After pulling the clumps of small green plastic fibers out of the water filter and removing the shredded grass cloth from the ramp, I decided not to replace the cloth because I know my turtle will tear it up again. I don't want them picking up plastic fibers and hurting themselves. Instead, I just put a grippy silicone mat on top of an acrylic ramp, so we'll have to see if that works better. You shouldn't be able to rip it off, and hopefully it will be fairly easy to clean, at least compared to artificial grass.
