Not good for turtles

It's very pretty but my turtle keeps biting the artificial grass. It gets stuck in my filter. I don't know why my turtle is doing this.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Damaged

Turtle Wharf: Fish & Aquatic Pets

Great for larger turtles, although I use rocks for support. The only problem is that the green carpet turns gray and gets stuck in the filter. I hope my turtles don't try to eat it.

Pros
  • Stable Test Results
Cons
  • Some Small Stuff

Absolute waste of money! Do not buy!

Pro large size. What a waste of money! After just a month I can see something peeling off! I threw it away because I don't want my turtle to mistake it for food! Do not buy!

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • So-so

Ideal for large tortoises

I have 3 very large tortoises. I wasn't sure if the turtles would use this ramp. My tortoises adapted very quickly. I suggest reinforcing the outer edges of the ramp against wear from turtles. They also pecked at the green sod and tore it up into small pieces from the base, but soon found it to be inedible. This ramp was the perfect size and powerful suction because those turtles were trying to destroy it!

Pros
  • Sturdy workmanship
Cons
  • Wrinkled packaging

RIP my baby - Ornaments

My 1 year old turtle recently died from choking on it. Well, if your turtle isn't as lively as mine, you should be fine, but the pieces of artificial grass aren't glued to the sides, so my baby started biting on them. When I found out I ordered another one (differential seller) but last Friday we were woken up by her gagging. I know it was that ramp because I was the one who removed everything that got stuck in her little mouth all the way down to her throat. Just a precaution.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • None

Longevity issues with aquarium decorations

This is one of the few ramps my big red slider could fit on (most of the time) and have fun. It's great to have a ramp that doesn't float so it can dive or sunbathe to varying degrees. The only issue I had was durability, almost immediately part of the sod started to fall apart - my turtle bit into the floating bits of green which detached from it and the black thread at the bottom started to come loose. Ropes and clinging to flippers. I have to constantly pry him of the pieces for fear he will

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

Works, but your turtle might try to eat it.

After a long search for a bathing solution that wouldn't take up much space in the aquarium or block the water flow and cause algae growth, I finally decided to try a curved ramp in the aquarium to achieve this acrylic style. This worked very well for a few weeks until my tortoise discovered that it could tear the artificial grass fabric easily. After pulling the clumps of small green plastic fibers out of the water filter and removing the shredded grass cloth from the ramp, I decided not to…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
