Sturdy shoulder straps, durable pads.
This product was supposed to be a temporary way to secure my kayak until I found some crossbars to fit my bare roof SUV, but it's so great I just left it. Very easy to use. Secures my kayak in place, I'm even on the freeway and it won't budge. The straps are very strong and well made. When it rains, no water gets into my car. I highly recommend this item!
