I chose this umbrella specifically because of the 3 year fade guarantee. As you can see in the photo, it has faded A LOT. It was delivered on April 4th and wasn’t put out until the beginning of May, so in two months it looks like it has been in use for years, not months. I realize the sun can do damage, but this is substantial. I bought this to replace an umbrella that had been in use for 5 years and it wasn’t close to being this faded. Other than the canopy, the metal frame is sturdy, which is why I gave it 2 stars. I will use it through the end of this season but it looks bad enough I will have to replace it next year. One note, I’m not sure if the color makes a difference, other colors may not fade as quickly.UPDATE: Customer service rep Jeremy L contacted me by email and offered to replace the red canopy with a beige one or to replace the entire umbrella! I chose to replace the canopy since the umbrella itself was fine, however Jeremy contacted me again telling me they were out of stock and he was sending me a new umbrella! He kept me up to date on the tracking and I received it a couple of days later. It looks great. I was really pleased with the customer service, they were very concerned with the experience I had with their company and making sure I was satisfied with the product, which I think speaks well for this company. Jeremy L was on top of everything and made sure to keep me informed every step of the way. Kudos to WikiWiki for a great product and great customer service!
