I've read some of the reviews on here and I disagree with the haters! The K cup works great, if you use the set instead of the pods you should clean it. To avoid constipation. Read the manual which says the POD punch needs to be cleaned with a small paperclip to keep it from clogging. You'll need a larger mug to avoid splashing, but remember that water poured into an open mug will splatter its smallest droplets. .I've used mine daily, it's great quality, I haven't had any issues and it definitely hasn't broken! The coffee is hot and the ability to adjust the carafe temperature is fantastic! The K-side of the cup has a silver top that is actually the trigger. you lift carefully. It's a bit difficult at first, like most new stuff. So be careful with the first applications. Make sure you use the grounds capsule when using your own coffee. DO NOT place coffee grounds in the K-Cup punch, IT WILL BE SELECTED INTO THE INCLUDED CHEST FOR A CUP. Cuisinart did well this time, I've compared it to other brands in the 60-160.00 price range, most are flimsy and cheap but this one is the BEST, not sure how some of these reviews on this pot fit, i want to say you posted wrong but this is a great product. 10 STARS
