When I first tried to install the device, my computer recognized the device as a camera, but none of my camera software received the image. So I went through the usual troubleshooting procedure; Disconnect and reconnect, disable and re-enable device, uninstall device in Device Manager and then reinstall manually. After all that and turning it off I got the camera working and the picture was very clear (no idea about the mic, I have a separate USB mic and the quality of those mics is always terrible at best). However, after turning the PC off and on again, the camera was marked as corrupt by the operating system and I can't get it to work again. I'm guessing I only have one flaw, but be aware that it's possible if you're purchasing this item. Will return.
