Update: I am working with product engineers to update the closure and pattern design to ensure product functionality. I will update again as soon as a new design is released and I can review it. The tailgate table design is great. The product seems to hold a decent weight and the wires are solid with nice rubber so you don't have any bare metal. However, there are a few things to look out for when making a purchase. 1) The template (as previously mentioned) will deviate about 1/4 inch horizontally. I recommend taking the table to the back door and just marking the holes rather than using a template. 2) They don't provide you with a hex key for the screws. They provide a drill bit which seems odd as I'm sure the Allen key costs very little. 3) Inserting rivets can be problematic if you don't have the appropriate tools. I understand this is a necessity, but people should be aware of the additional cost. One of my rivets is also loose after installation so I need to go back and figure out how to get a tight fit. 4) Locking loops on mine are not pinned. I posted a video showing they are not blocked. This allows the table to jump and fall apart and fall off and hit everything in my back hold.
