This film is very effective at filtering light while providing privacy. Those were my two main goals when using it. My house has scratches on the sliding door from previous owners' pets, so I wasn't expecting perfection. The second window with the larger roll had a noticeable crease running the length of the film (the only reason for the 4 stars). I tried smoothing it out but instead it seemed to double. Personally this was a minor issue as my windows are not in pristine condition but if I had perfect windows it would be obvious and bother me. Be sure to measure and order the correct amount of foil. Spray the window and film with plenty of soapy water before applying the film to adjust. Newbie Mistake: Use a pre-cut horizontal and vertical corner to align the slide to the window. Starting this way only requires 2 cuts instead of 4, resulting in a cleaner look with less chance of mistakes.
