Not as easy as it seemed

I snapped my (new) nail and damaged my carpal tunnel trying to open part of the clamp. Apparently it had glue or it had melted. I ended up prying it off with a screwdriver. Definitely not the promised "one-handed" operation. Opened both and used one. When I gave it to a second friend, she complained that it wouldn't open. And now mine is "stuck" to my car so I can't move it where I want. It may not be a problem for everyone, but I was in pain.
