Review on 🔶 HABA First Blocks: Engaging Visual and Acoustic Surprises for Ages 1 and Up (Made in Germany) by Christine Pochmara

Bought this for my 5 month old son to start building blocks. To summarize this set in one word I would have to use EXCITING. The ball seems to move by itself and my son can't take his eyes off it. The ball is also stackable and easily balanced on the screw cylinder. I like to take a green donut and place a spiral cylinder in the middle. When I roll it up my child loves to punch out the middle. Surprisingly, the sphere also stacks and balances easily on the spiral cylinder. I think the HABA figure is very cute, but when my son has a choice, his favorite car is a car. The mirror block and NAVA character he paid least attention to, but everything else caught his attention. This set is super fun because not only do the bricks have lots of detail for a child to discover (sound, look and feel) but they also have lots of creative ways to use them besides stacking. An endless amount of fun imagining and then reinventing. We are definitely fans!
