This spoon is just over 12 inches long and will therefore be a great help in tall mixing pitchers. I ordered this as I was concerned that my current 9" spoon would be too short to use in my recently ordered mixing glass, nearly 6" tall, both items were ordered together. I found that the handle was noticeably thinner than my old 9 inch spoon and that the thin handle was slightly curved. It works well and will do the job, but it looks cheap compared to my old spoon. I wouldn't call it a high quality gift that would impress people. The agreed price, I will not return it, my wife said she could use it. (Husband writes a review here.) Another note: I found my 9" spoon worked great with the new mixing glass, the 12" length was overkill for my needs.
