I bought these to make my own sanitizing wipes as sanitizing wipes are so hard to find these days. What I didn't realize is that you have to zoom to the back of the bucket to see this comment about not using "bleach or alcohol based chemicals" so this idea came up. I put Pine Sol in instead and the towels fell apart when I tried to get them out of the tub. I haven't had a chance to clean anything without them falling apart. Maybe they would have been better if you used a different cleaner.
