This worked "well" the first few times, but then the map you were trying to copy to the computer disappeared mid-stream. Extreme stroke of luck that the card would be readable at all. Sometimes it worked if you removed and reinserted the card enough times. So I did a little research and downloaded a firmware update from the manufacturer. After updating the firmware, the reader appears as four drive letters in My Computer as before, but the card itself no longer appears no matter how many times you reinsert it into the reader. Then I found that the USB driver for the card was updated, after I installed the new driver the reader didn't even show up as drives in 'My Computer'. The computer system I bought runs Windows 7. Out of curiosity, I connected it to my Windows 10 laptop and although it showed up in Device Manager, it didn't read any cards and no drive letters showed up in "My Computer". displayed wagon. I've spent way too much time with this 14.00 card reader and think I can just grab a hammer and a blowtorch and get some satisfaction for the money I spent on it.
