The programmable keyboard with actuation keys does not have the accuracy of the original key fob. As a result, when reassembled with the original board, the remote "mostly" works correctly, but requires more button presses, and sometimes I press the "unlock" button and the alarm goes off. or I press the "close" button and the car "unlocks". That's too vague for my taste. However, I was able to make a "hybrid" remote using the back of the new one (which broke on mine), the original rubberized keyboard, and the original front. Not exactly what I was hoping for, but I'm back in business with two fully functional remotes for less than $8.
