Mine didn't work properly, luckily I'm an IT technician.

These items are non-OEM and did not work. I would take the guts from my original and all I would do is cause panic. After actually checking, the original had a different design, so I added a piece of plastic to separate the buttons so that if you press one of them, the panic turns off every time you press the button. Spend a few bucks more and get one that's ready to go.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers

Perfect replacement OEM

I broke the loop on the factory key fob. So what have I done? Went to the local auto parts store and bought a nice keychain to replace the American flag. BAD IDEA. The buttons were hard to press and I actually had to press them hard for them to work. I found and replaced it at Revain and my remote works like it did before without having to press any buttons! Thank you for making a great product!

Pros
  • Quality construction

  • Not sure

The panic button works by simply placing it on the counter!

Purchased to replace key fob on our F350. It was on the list of compatible cars. After we removed and resealed the electronics, the panic button continued to work when we attempted to lock or unlock the doors. When we put the key fob on the counter it worked again. Too bad I didn't read the reviews from people who had problems. We ended up taking the old electronics and buttons and putting them in the new key fob because our old key fob only had a broken housing where it attached to the key…

Each button becomes a panic button

Scrap. This product didn't work. Each button you press activates the panic button. I could not open or lock car doors with this device. It's missing a few internal rubber feet compared to the original, which may separate individual keys when pressed. I think this lack of separation could be the cause of the panic button, i.e. the annoying beeping. It works at the slightest touch, so this thing can't even be carried in a pocket. Too bad it looked so promising, but Ultimate doesn't work.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • So-so

Exact fit for OEM internals BUT

Everything works and fits but there is a problem when you squeeze the case its alarming. I suspect this is simply because the plastic isn't hard enough to prevent the button from being pushed. in the hull. Everything looks the same as in the OEM case. My OEM cables finally broke after 17 years and I needed something to put the electronics in. It's a good solution, although I have to deal with the panic alarm on the key fob when I take the keys out of my pocket. It doesn't happen all the time…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some errors

MECH. Works but could be better.

Rubber insert is 90% identical to the original. The buttons on the original remote were on the inside of the rubber and these replacements don't. So I had to get creative to make it work. Which is disappointing as I thought they were an exact replacement. In the picture I posted, the original is on the right and the replacement is on the left. The protrusions on the underside of the keys are about 2mm shorter on the new ones, which is why the keys don't work well. The plastic keychain didn't…

Far from the quality or performance of the original keychain.

The programmable keyboard with actuation keys does not have the accuracy of the original key fob. As a result, when reassembled with the original board, the remote "mostly" works correctly, but requires more button presses, and sometimes I press the "unlock" button and the alarm goes off. or I press the "close" button and the car "unlocks". That's too vague for my taste. However, I was able to make a "hybrid" remote using the back of the new one (which broke on mine), the original rubberized…
