I used it with a Linksys EA9300 which is a great router. I know very well how to use networks, routers, switches, etc. I set it up in range extender mode with duplicate network names for each range and 802.11r roaming enabled. I used the Linksys utility to determine the best location for the extender (fairly close to the router).1. Very little increase in range.2. Significant speed reduction.3. The router with the expander issued duplicate addresses and the clients stopped working. Over the course of several weeks I tried many changes to the setup and eventually turned it off and tossed it aside.
