I don't know what other reviewers are missing. let me ask; Have you ever tried washing the carbon dust off of these filters before installing them in the car? If not, then you've all enjoyed a good percentage of charcoal dust in each of your cups of coffee. I spent almost 5 minutes trying to wash all the dust out of one of these filters [the first one actually] and no matter what, the water never cleared, it was always dark grey. Usually, a quality filter doesn't leave a lot of residue that needs to be rinsed out. These things are pitifully filled with endless dust. Of course, I discarded all other filters and went for a branded brand.
