Review on 🚗 Enhance Performance with the DiabloSport Predator 2: 7202 Power Programmer by Rui Knain

Good tuner for the price but study. I bought this tuner for my 2008 GMC Yukon, I read several reviews and they were all positive so I took the plunge and bought it. The most important feature was the ability to disable the AFM model (GM never had to design their cars to go from V8 to V4 and back). I've disabled AFM gauges to recalibrate tire size since going to 295/55r20. For these attributes, the tuner works great! However, I tried "87Perf" first. Switch it on and I could immediately tell a big difference in the Yukon's handling; Shifts were crisper and I felt the power increase effortlessly. The big disappointment came when I heard a knocking noise when accelerating, especially on medium to hard acceleration between 20-40 mph. I feel like my Yukon is running poorly but mine is 87 octane so I shouldn't have that problem, When I see how the tune is made for 87 octane. I'll add 93 octane and try the tune again to see if that fixes the ping. I also called DiabloSport, they tried to find a possible solution but they didn't help; They said just take it to the store for further analysis. Ping issues aside, this tuner works well and is very easy to use! In hindsight I should have invested in the "i3" not the P2.
