I have eczema and need to use unscented/dye-free/sensitive products for sensitive skin to avoid flare-ups. I have tried several shampoos. I liked that the least. It's a bit like. . . Not watery though. . . Slim. In the photo it would look thick, but in fact there is no substance. You pump it into your hand and it flows through your fingers. It takes a ton of shampoo to distribute through thicker hair. My hair is thick but ends above my shoulders. It probably took me 6 pulls to wash it. I would have to shampoo it in sections and use more shampoo for each section. I think the texture is a bit like aloe vera gel - not sticky, but the kind used as a hand sanitizer. There was no noticeable odor. The hair is clean after use. I haven't had any skin problems. I could use it if it was made available, but I wouldn't buy it again. FYI: The shampoo I liked after trying this and a few others is unscented by a company called Hairitage
