Edit: THIS TYPE OF WAX IS TO USE IT WITH A LIGHTER WAX ON YOUR FINGERS! I used regular Viking Revolution Wax prior to this Extreme Hold and the Extreme Hold came out GREAT out of the box. No heat, no lumps, no problem! I mixed 2 waxes together on my fingertips and I have hold all day! Original post: Pros: Strong hold all day Great scent Dries quickly Very waterproof Cons: Heavy as hell despite having a heater in my bag for 5+ hours (hadn't tried a hair dryer yet as mine just broke) - Balls are very easy (wax doesn't like to melt and tends to leave little balls in my mustache. Especially bad when you take it out at the end of the day with my comb) History: I've been using Viking Revolution Wax since I started before 1 year painting my mustache. Never had any problems until recently when I wanted to hold my tight curls tighter. I started using "sticky hold" hair gel (since the mid 2000's punks have been using it for pointed spikes) and it works great but takes a long time to set and smells bad. Also, I have unruly hair that doesn't want to go where I want it to. So I decided to buy a more durable wax. I'll update if I find a better way to melt it as that's the only problem I'm actually having.
