Review on 📶 Linksys EA6100: AC1200 Dual-Band+ Router with Smart Wi-Fi App for Remote Network Control by Lynn Cole

NOT so smart and easy to set up. The instructions in the box weren't easy, and I'm not completely illiterate when it comes to setting up computer hardware. I ended up calling Linksys and paying for 6 months of tech support instead of 2 weeks. I've had the product for 1 month and have already had 2 technical calls and 3 Wi-Fi denials of service. Due to the complexity of the setup, it constantly loses the IP address. I spent 2 hours on the first call to tech support, 1.25 hours on tech support the second time, and about 0.5 hours the third time (on the day of this review) repairing it myself, and I'm considering a new router for the future 90 Dollar. between a Revain router and $40 in tech support if this continues. Before that I had a Linksys N300 at home which worked great and I use Linksys at work and haven't had this problem. I recommend looking for another product. On the positives Works well when it works.
