I was kind of disappointed in the unit when I first pulled it out of its packaging. It was dry and stiff and appeared to be shorter than the already short 8". I put it on and tried to play around with it, then snatched it off, ugh!I decided to wash and treat it. I found that sometimes if I wash and treat the hair, it seems to come to life and loosen up, which is exactly what this unit did. After it dried, I put it on and added some styling mousse and finger combed and styled. It looks almost identical to my natural texture and curl pattern. It did shed ALOT. I washed and treated it with Aphogee. Forgive the pictures the lighting in my living room sucks and I was using the flashlight on my phone to help with visibility, so the wave pattern can be seen (lol).I acrually LOVE this unit. It's a great natural looking go to wig.
