Just spent a week in Maui and snorkeled every day. It was typical Maui weather; warm and stuffy. The water temperature was 80 to 82 degrees. Many have snorkeled without a neoprene top but I guarantee my husband and I were the most comfortable. He had short sleeves and I had long ones. I was a little worried that I would overheat, but it wasn't there. We were both so happy that we were able to stay in the water for 1 1/2 to 2 hours and only came out due to physical fatigue. Here I am, 5ft 2, 140 pounds. I got the 14 which fits well but I found it a bit long in the body. It didn't really bother me. It was comfortable but not uncomfortable. It seemed to get softer when wet. Maybe I could have gone when I was 12, but it worked really well.
