Review on 🌡️ UCTRONICS K-Type Thermocouple Temp Sensor: Digital Temperature Meter with Blue LED Display and Black Case by Mike Modesto

I've always wanted to install a thermocouple on my wood stove to control the operation of the catalytic combustion chamber. Until I found this device I would have had to spend over a hundred dollars for the range and accuracy of this little gem. The display is really dark but it's perfect for my application. I don't want a bright, distracting LED lighting up my living room when I'm watching a movie. But I want to know when it's time to throw the log in the fire without getting up and staring at the catalyst thermometer. That's not entirely correct in the temperature range. (Either that or the two bimetallic thermometers I've used are too hot at 1200°F, but close enough and constant enough that I can always tell the condition of the burn. And at a tenth the price? I could not be happier.
