I bought 2 meters at the same time they are not accurate at all one was +2 in the cold the other was +3 then - 2 and +1 degrees when cooking. The claimed accuracy of 0.05 degrees to just one meter is displayed with a very difficult to read decimal point. A numerator that doesn't have a decimal fraction is much clearer. I checked my hot/cold water temp with fluke type ak and it agrees. If you need repeatability and accuracy, send money elsewhere.

Pretty much. Great for the price! It was 22°C at room temperature and 99°C in a pot of boiling water. My measurements with it went up to 240C and seem plausible. No false readings or jumping numbers at a constant temperature. The display wasn't very bright. The temperature sensor is long enough to fit in a toaster, which is fine for my purposes. I have a JST XH 2 pin power connector. The module requires 12V to operate. I would prefer 5V or 3.3V, but 12V will still work.

Works well and seems accurate but the display is quite dim. Please note the black plastic case was scratched below the numbers: I was surprised to find it was carefully packed with foam at each end of the box but came without a protective film the front counter. Apart from that it seems to work fine - conveniently it also runs under 12V so I didn't need an extra power supply and just ran it from a 5V Raspberry Pi (3V works too but is too weak).
