This kickstand is designed to be attached to a Horizontal Plate.not clamped to the side tube.
What you get is the Kickstand in a plain transparent wrapper. If you are handy with your bike, how to attach it will be self-evident. If you're not sure.Take your Current KickStand OFF. It will be held there by a bolt in a small horizontal base plate. Clean the dirt and grease (If you've been properly OILING your Bike!) before you attempt to attached the new kickstand.
