I've seen a lot of people write reviews about this dryer saying it doesn't heat up. It's going to get hot, but be aware that the "cool air" button isn't the "press and hold" for the cool air button. If you press and release the cold start button, it will stay cold until you press and release it again. I also thought there was no heat with this dryer, but it seemed unusually cold, so I played with the cold shot button a bit and figured out how it works. The dryer actually gets quite hot when hot, but not excessively. It's just as hot as I would expect from a conventional dryer. The dryer isn't too noisy, it's quieter than my old dryer which was a regular motor dryer. This is a powerful little dryer. It's smaller than my old dryer and I love its compact size. It's easier too. I will update again after using it more.
