An excellent habitat for beetles! We chose a larger rectangular habitat because it has a clear plastic viewing panel so you can see the bugs inside better. Otherwise, if you're looking for a cage that's not so tall, that's great! Our leaf beetles needed more space, but it would be great for caterpillars. My favorite feature is that the top opens almost completely! This makes it much easier to fit things into the cage. It's also good if the bug is on one side of the zipper as you can open it from the other side. I also like the small door. Definitely a sturdy little cage!
