Works very, very little. Ordered 3X for my husband it almost fits me and I'm only 510 and 140lbs he couldn't even put it on his shoulders and he's 6ft 250 I would say 3X is more suitable for medium to large sizes. To fit a chubby man, you need to order about 8X
