Compare with brand name

I've been using interior window film in winter since the mid 80's - it prevents condensation from forming on the inside of my windows even when it's -20 degrees and also provides extra warmth in the absence of cold zones in the Vicinity. Window. I have had good and bad experiences with different brands - maybe this review will help you with your purchase decision. My top priority for this type of innershrink film is that it be obvious - this roll is below par. I've had good and bad from a major brand, seems to depend on when the gear was last cleaned. This roll is a little "milky" compared to another window I made with the famous brand last year. I thought the larger roll would be easier to work with than the wrapped one - unfortunately I was disappointed. Folded plastic is much easier to work with. The reduced width of the folded plastic film makes it easier to cut, move and unfold on the window. The windows I use range from small to 62 x 100. And yes, the roll is exactly 62 inches wide. A few years ago I tried another unnamed brand that came with its own strap. NEVER AGAIN. The included tape came off after a few days, leaving a sticky mess that took forever to clean. I used branded tape with this roll that I had left over from last year. No hair dryer. Just don't keep the heat gun in one spot or it will melt a hole in one of the stamps. at least in a few months - better clean without wrinkles. Also remember that it is not the thickness of the plastic that provides the insulation, but the air gap between the window glass and the plastic. Sleek and crystal clear that lasts through spring is what I'm looking for.
