Review on Thomas Traceable Waterproof Thermometer with Probe/Cable - Temperature Range: -50°C to 300°C by Michael Thaxton

Bought this product to control the temperature of beer at home. I used it once and it worked like a champ, but I pulled it out a second time and it showed 154 degrees Fahrenheit for room temperature. I changed the battery according to the instructions, no change. Unfortunately it has been 3 months since I ordered the product, so I can no longer return it. I have emailed Thomas' company to see what can be done now. If I get good reviews/repair/replacement I'll update this review, but at this point it's not a very reliable device for the price in its current form. UPDATE: They replaced the thermometer for free. It took a couple of weeks to sort this out, multiple emails and postage. Let's see how this new one holds up.
