Review on High Performance K&N Cold Air Intake Kit for 2007-2009 Toyota FJ Cruiser, 4.0L V6, Improve Horsepower - Model 63-9030 by Kofi Wills

Acceleration improves significantly from 2500 to 5000 rpm. My '09 FJ usually "coughs" a little in 3rd gear around 2000 rpm. After installing this air intake system, the "sofa" is much lighter. The sound is much better than the stock intake system. Since I just installed it, I can't give any information on the fuel consumption. However, I will update any mileage changes over time. I've read in various places that they are more prone to TRD because it completely covers the filter. If you're a little concerned about filter contamination, I recommend purchasing one of the filter caps from the K&N website. They help extend the life of the filter without restricting air intake.
